Our Purpose
If it’s the Official Story, it’s probably a LIE.
We live in a world of mass communication – which now almost equates to mass propaganda. “The media” is all-pervasive and almost all-persuasive. The press, radio, television, and advertising assail us at all times seemingly from all directions, and with an ever-growing battery of devices and technologies. Most of this propaganda is the hands of big business or big government and often it is difficult to know where one of those ends and the other begins. The content of the propaganda falls mainly into two parts – inconsequential “entertainment” and controlled information.
Controlled information is provided by governments and business with the aim of persuading the public to adopt the views that the providers require of them. This information may be full or edited, it may be accurate, or mis-information, or dis-information, or downright lies, as suits the providers. The media is controlled in order to control the information in order to control the population.
Even entertainment is used in this great opinion-controlling conspiracy. “Soap operas,” including Coronation Street and Eastenders, have been used in Britain to slowly but methodically change the attitudes of the public to decency and respect and family life in general and to homosexual activity in particular. So it is now verging on the criminal to criticise even mildly actions that were themselves criminal less than 40 years ago.
Whereas the communist regimes of the recent past tried to outlaw religion because it posited an authority above that of The Party, so now the governments and corporations of the Globalised World seek to marginalise religious belief and to ridicule and destroy the moral principles upon which much of western civilisation has been founded so that it, too, can claim Supreme Authority. Even Science is prostituted to support the same falsehood that was propagated by Hitler and Stalin.
Only on the internet is it still possible for the voices of dissent to be heard, but there are so many millions of sites that even here is difficult to find and be confident in accurate and honest information.
This site is dedicated to the Pursuit of Truth; we encourage a Thirst for Truth in all matters that affect the public good, whether they be classed by others as Religion, or Politics, or Science, or War or Business or Economics, or Human Rights or any other label, for the public mind is being manipulated and moulded by many influences to desert the truth and base life on a foundation of a Compounded Lie.
It is for the public good that society and all its workings should be based on Truth, Righteousness, Justice, and Compassion. Without Truth, the other principles cannot operate.
The task of this site is to inform, to expose, to explain, to guide, to ask questions, to provide links to other relevant sites, to uphold Christian Truth and apply it to today’s events and problems; not by resort to dogma, but by using reason and evidence to show that God’s Way is the Best Way for mankind.
Above all, we want to make our visitors think for themselves and learn to question, to doubt, and to refute the deliberately misleading propaganda that is fed to them day by day by powerful interests.
